There are buddies for international students at all campuses and they are going to find you, if they haven`t already! Buddies are there to help you settling in in the Norwegian culture and in the student life on campus so do not hesitate to ask them questions! Throughout the semester the student society and the buddies will arrange fun activities: make sure not to miss them!
Norway is an expensive country and as a student you will need a minimum of approximately NOK 10 000 per month in order to cover basic expenses. This includes room rental, food, transportation to and from the airport and a little extra for some social activities. There are no tuition fees in Norway, only a small semester fee equal to ca. 800,- NOK (for printing and use of some facilities on campus – see below).
If you are an exchange student (Erasmus+, Nordplus or EEA) then you do not need to pay a semester fee. All other students must pay the semester fee. It is important that you pay the fee as soon as possible to be able to activate your student account at HUAS and get access to all student facilities.
To activate your student account, follow the instructions here.
