At Hedmark University of Applied Sciences (HUAS), the libraries at campuses Hamar, Elverum, Rena and Evenstad have extended their opening hours. This means that enrolled students and faculty have access to the library before and after regular, staffed opening hours.
You have access to the “Open Library” if you are registered as a student at Hedmark University of Applied Sciences. Before and after staffed opening hours you can enter the library by using your student card and pin code. If you leave the library, you will need your card to get back in. For safety reasons, selected areas of the library premises are under video surveillance when the staff is not present. Theft and vandalism will be reported to the police.
The library is a place for everyone. Please respect our simple rules:
• Show consideration for your fellow students – keep the noise level down.
• Tidy up after yourself – take good care of the library!
• Remember to check out items you want to borrow, using the self-service machine.
• Alcohol, drugs and animals are not allowed.
• “Open library” is only for HUAS students and employees. Please do not allow anyone else to enter.
