Ass. Prof. Anne Marit Danbolt has been allocated project development support for a cooperation project with University of Zambia

Hedmark University of Applied Sciences (HUAS) was recently allocated funding for four projects to develop international cooperation.

ERASMUS+ International Credit Mobility

HUAS was allocated four mobility grants (two for students and two for staff) for exchange with Tokyo University of Agriculture (TUA), Japan, under Erasmus+ International Credit mobility.

The mobility grants will be used to support cooperation between Dr. Alina Evans (Faculty of Applied Ecology and Agricultural Sciences at HUAS) and Dr. Koji Yamazaki (Tokyo University of Agriculture) and to further develop and expand opportunities for student exchange and cooperation between HUAS and TUA.

Dr. Alina Evans is a previous recipient of an IRSAE mobility grant for her cooperation with Japanese colleagues on bear. Thanks to Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility, Alina and her colleagues and students from both institutions, can now visit each other and strengthen the cooperation between our institutions!

NORPART

Project development funding for two projects under the call « Norwegian Partnership Programme for Global Academic Cooperation, NORPART». By the application deadline for project development funding, SIU had received 114 applications: of the 52 which were allocated funding, 2 went to HUAS!

Ass. Prof. Anne Marit Danbolt has been allocated project development support for a cooperation project with University of Zambia on «LEMS - Literacy Education in Multilingual Settings».

Ass. Prof. Wendy Lathrop Meyer has been allocated project development support for a cooperation project with University of Dar Es Salaam and Marangu Teacher`s College in Tanzania on «Enhancing Arts and Cultural education within primary and secondary school».

Application deadline for the main project is September 5th, 2016.

 EURASIA program

 Project development funding for the Eurasia program. By the application deadline for project development funding, SIU had received 24 applications, 16 of these were allocated project development funding including the one from HUAS!

Ass. Prof. Dordy Wilson has been allocated project development support for a cooperation project with Ilia State University, Georgia, on inclusive education. University of Northampton in the U.K. participates as network partner.
