Merger - What does it mean for you as a student?

If you have been admitted to a course or study programme at Hedmark University of Applied Sciences (HUAS) or Lillehammer University College (LUC), you will automatically become a student at Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences as of 1 January 2017. Your course of study and individual education plan will remain the same.

Student Card: All student cards work as usual until other information is given.

Studentweb and login: there will be no change in your log in credentials until further notice. If you have been admitted to HUAS, you will continue choosing HUAS as institution when you log in to Studentweb. If you have been admitted to LUC, you will continue choosing LUC as institution when you log in to Studentweb.

Programmes: There will be no immediate changes in the college's undergraduate programs, and you are entitled to complete your studies in accordance with your existing study plan. The student advisers you have been in contact with until now will remain the same also after 1/1/2017.

Diplomas and transcript of records: Diplomas and transcript of records issued after 1/1/2017 will have the name of the new institution, Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences, and the new logo.

Semester fee: The tuition fee will increase from 420 NOK to 445 NOK per semester. The raise has been adopted by the new Student Association of Inland Norway (Studentsamskipnaden I Innlandet) and approved by the Ministry of Education. The contribution to SAIH is 30 NOK per semester. The license and materials fee is unchanged.

Rights and Obligations: Regulations governing studies and examinations at HUAS or LUC, which governs your rights and obligations as a student, will apply during the current academic year. New Study Regulations for Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences will take effect from 1 August 2017.
